Perrelet Diamond Flower Double Rotor Women's Watch
Flower Petals and Diamonds and Rubies What else would you want your watch to be made up of?Diamonds set upon the unique double rotor?Powered by the motions of your wrist?Sold.Perrelet, a seemingly quiet brand with TONS of potential, is going beyond print ads and marketing materials with this elegant video of the Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch. Which is a brilliant idea, especially for this model. How else would a woman, or a man, be able to truly understand the beauty at play here?Set with diamonds and rubies, the Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch defines its aesthetic both inside and out. While it's lovely to think of the weight of a mechanic watch being cast in gold or platinum, and often with guilloche patterns mimicking the face of the dial, this Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch goes one step further with the double rotor rotating both inside and out.Designing this watch with a double rotor is unique, difficult to construct, and mesmerizing to witness. Sotheby's Hong Kong Announces Highlights From The Upcoming October Sale With A Rare Vintage Pate
Sotheby's Hong Kong has just announced the highlights from their upcoming sale on October 6th. The sale will consist of 420 lots with an estimate exceeding 86 million HKD ($11 million US). The sale consists of a range of pieces from all the major watch brands with a spattering of jeweled pieces, modern wristwatches, and vintage pieces. BUT the most exciting part of the sale is the vintage Patek Philippe Reference 2523 World-Time with dual-crown. 1 OF 2 Leading the pack is an incredibly cool Patek Philippe Reference 2523/1 Yellow Gold World Time Wristwatch with 24-hour indication and double crown, made in 1968 with an estimate of 4 to 5.5 million HKD ( $510,000 to $710,000 US). The reference 2523 was an extension of Louis Cottier's famous world-time design (invented in 1931) but with a new two-crown design that was launched in 1953. This example, a 2523-1, features a guilloché dial that is part of a limited production of 20. This watch is fresh to the market
What size RO would be best?
I've got my heart set on a white face RO, but I'm torn between 37 and 39mm. I've got 6 wrists, so I'm fairly sure the 41mm isn't even a consideration. It'll be a daily wearer, so I want something that's not going to draw as much attention as a ROO. What would people suggest for someone with my rather small wrists?I know the obvious answer is visit a AD and try a few sizes on but I don't think I'll have time over the next month.
Seamaster Professional Servicing
I am too lazy to dig out my owners manual (BIG RED TOME) to see how often the servicing is suggested by OMEGA. I got this watch in 2003 I think so she is almost 4 years old. Are we looking at the Rolex 5 to 7 year kind of plan? And where do you SMP fans send your SMP's?
How many Baselworlds before we see a SS Day-Date?
With Rolex now releasing SS models of previous PM only, does anyone think we'll see in the future a SS or TT Day-Date?
