SIHH 2013, You Control The Watch Coverage
In about a week I will be on the ground in Geneva covering the 2013 edition of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH). Read this post fully because the important stuff is at the end. This will be our 4th SIHH show, but our week in Geneva doesn't stop there. In addition to the SIHH we will be at the Geneva Time Exhibition (GTE), and meet with a number of other brands who will be presenting in the area. SIHH sounds hectic but in reality it is much more relaxed than the ten plus days you can spend in Basel at Baselworld madly meeting with as many brands as possible.Seeing that many watches can be overwhelming - even for us. Watchmakers will be be superfluous and skills will have to adapt to the multitude of different products that will permeate the market. Inevitably, monitoring mechanisms will become more complex and the skills of the watchmaker must improve to operate effectively through this world more complex and more complex.

Planet Ocean 42 mm question
Hi everyone, I was looking for input from 42 mm PO wearers. I have been looking at this model for awhile, and am especially interested in the newer model, I believe the bezel has a grayish hue to it, I really like that look a lot, and was wondering how you folks who have them like the look of the watch, and the bracelet. I've had several rolexes...all gone but one now...but, have a vintage speedmaster, and am looking for a dive watch now, and this model really has my attention...could you also confirm whether it has a domed crystal, I believe it does, but, have not seen one in person.Thank you for your time!Kelly.
