The Bulgari Octo Maserati: A Triple Retrograde Jump-Hour Chronograph With "Maserati" Nowhe
Ferrari may have Hublot (and Movado?), but Maserati now has Bulgari.? The new Octo Maserati is really an impressive timepiece, featuring a jump-hour at 12 o'clock and a retrograde displays for the minutes, running seconds, chronograph minutes, and date.? What makes this watch interesting is that instead of opting for aggressive Maserati branding on the dial, you won't see the name anywhere on front of the watch.? Instead, the retrograde displays are styled in Maserati-like way.? The limited edition does feature the Maserati trident on the caseback, but in the world of luxury automobile-themed timepieces, that's about as understated as you're going to get.? Official video below.
Incoming....its gold...its big...its mine!!!
First and foremost, I wanted to thank everyone for providing their views and suggestions when I was debating which watch to get...whether it was the RG Schumi / RB2 , the Ti RB2, or Ti RM11...what it really came down to is minimizing cash flow at this time given I've added a couple of other big pieces to the collection the last couple of months.I was walking around the mall today with the kids. Told my wife i was going to visit the RM boutique for a few minutes. Stopped by the AP boutique on the way...and there she was in the display window...the 44mm RG ROO Ceramic.I've always thought this was the perfect / reasonable upgrade for my RGRC.Tried it all, discussed approximate discounts, and told them to hold it for a few hours while I ran a few errands (take my RGRC to the second hand shops to sell).Got quite a decent price for the RGRC and got a great discount on the retail on this piece...too good of a deal to pass up. So here she is!!!Just a quick wrist shot...will post better photos
Daily wearer question
Hey all. Would love to hear from the group on what you think would be the better daily wearer. I am thinking between a diver or BB right now. I tend to lean toward the BB (on rubber strap) because of the bezel which I believe would handle abuse better and I'm not a huge fan of the bezek rotate crown on the diver. I do like the (I believe) better resale capabilities of the diver. My current daily driver is a 15300 with an occasional wear of a Patek Aquanaut.
AP Diver - Carbon Price?
can find the price anywhere. Anyone know the price of the AP DIVER in CARBON?
