Ulysse Nardin Imperial Blue Offers Westminster Chimes and Flying Tourbillon
Ulysse Nardin has a notable history in chiming watches, from its Gold Medal-winning minute-repeater chronograph at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair to modern timepieces such as last year’s Stranger. At Baselworld 2014, Ulysse Nardin introduced its latest haut-de-gamme chiming watch, the Imperial Blue. The Ulysse Nardin Imperial Blue boasts not only a Grand Sonnerie Westminster Carillon which rings out four notes (“Mi-Do-Re-Sol”) for each passing hour and chimes the hours, quarter hours and minutes on demand but also a flying tourbillon with an eye-catching, blue sapphire bridge.A Grand Sonnerie function, which dates back to around 1300, is a rarity in a modern wristwatch, with only about a half-dozen manufacturers producing them, including Ulysse Nardin. 15300 advice needed.....
Hello all. I have the chance to get a g serial 15300 black dial in pretty much nos unpolished condition with all boxes and papers. It was sold in 2012 and sent to ap for third year warranty. Sellers bottom dollar is $11,500 usd. So my question is, with the recent jump in 15300 prices dose anyone expect a drop in value anytime soon or maybe prices to rise more? As these are getting harder to find in this condition do you think this is a sound deal? Thanks for your insight. Btw I know no one has a crystal ball and who knows what will happen, I'm just looking for your best guess.
Need help identifying vintage Seamaster
My very first post on the Omega section. While cleaning up the attic today together with my father we came across this vintage Omega seamaster that belonged to my grandfather. It has been there since my grandfather passed away in the early 80s. It actually works after winding. Ive searched the web and can find many similar watches but not this one. The case back says 10K gold filled. Where are the vintage experts?
