Let's See some (Non-Royal Oak) AP's!
The Audemars Piquet section of these forums is stacked heavily towards the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore models. I'm also a big fan of the Royal Oak watches (and have a 15400).My other AP, which I just got locally used (price too low to refuse), is an Edward Piguet in stainless steel (15015ST-0-0001VS-01). I estimate from the serial number (E-12xxx) that this watch was produced sometime in 1999.So, let's see some photos of your non-Royal Oak AP's!
Vintage Omega Triple Date Moonphase - any collector?
Looks like there is much less interest in the Omega vintage pieces vs the Rolex vintage pieces? If true, why?
USA watch buying
Hi, I'm in the market for a new watch to add to my collection and have decided I quiet like the Panerai PAM01352. In the UK they are $7000 but looking on Chrono24 you can get them for $5750. I have a friend in NYC coming over to the UK in August, do you guys have any advice re buying Panerai over in the USA. Has anyone bought from watchmaxx in Brooklyn or Jomashop?
Thoughts on swapping SS Sub-C & BLNR bracelets?
Picked up a BLNR from my AD on friday. I also have a SS Sub-C. When i got the Sub-C last year i was also looking at GMTs but really didnt like the polished center links on the bracelet. Well i got the sub and since then the polished center links kinda grew on me so i grabbed a BLNR. Now that i have both im debating on selling the sub-c but looking at them side by side i just love the sub-c brushed links and glidelock clasp. I believe i can simply swap the bracelets and they will fit, correct? Someone mentioned u can swamp the bracelets but not the pins..make sure u swap the pins so the orginal ones stay with the watch to insure they snap in correctly??? So if i can do that i just might. But my main concern is resale value. What do you guys think?
