Is the "big watch" going to make a comeback for 2014? That is hard to say, but Swiss Maurice Lacroix has an XXL-sized horological entrant with their 48mm wide sized Pontos S Supercharged. It continues the Pontos S legacy that began in 2012, and last year in 2013 resulted in the Pontos S Extreme (hands-on here). The Extreme had some interesting colors and now the Supercharged is all about bold design and size.We've always liked the Pontos S for its forward-thinking design and sharp modern looks while conforming to traditional standards of legibility and functionality. And don't forget that cool crown for the inner rotating bezel that is connected to the chronograph start/stop pusher. All of that is retained in the Pontos S Supercharged, but with some design updates and a different movement. Navy, Safari or Black Panda
Had a chance to view the new offshores 42mm live at the Singapore boutique and must say generally they are all really nice and its so hard to pick one. Was very keen on the all Grey but seeing this one live was a bit underwhelming very flat monotone even dull. The rose gold piece was gorgeous but it screams look at me! And heavy to wear. Narrowed down to the safari, navy and panda black and red .. Any advise out there? What are your thoughts as a second AP after the 40th anniversary jumbo?

Was wondering if people could share their thoughts on the 441. I know ultimately, the only opinion that matters is the person making the purchase, but I'd like to hear others thoughts on this watch.I'm thinking of purchasing this as my first PAM. I know, not the conventional choice but it speaks to me. I don't see much on this piece, and I'm not sure if it's the color, full Arabic dial, material, etc..
