Rodeo Drive Festival Of Watches In Beverly Hills October 10-13, 2013
October 10-13, 2013 is the inaugural "Festival of Watches" event in Beverly Hills, California. Los Angeles has sorely needed a decent watch event and this is a good start. The Rodeo Drive Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with a range of watch boutiques will have some special events, open store hours, and watches during the festival period. The real night to enjoy the event however is October 10th starting in the late afternoon from about 6-9pm. Many of the boutiques will have special "open houses" that include everything from an exhibition of special timepieces, watchmakers, gifts, and probably a decent helping of complimentary drinks. The map above shows each of the boutiques that will be participating in the Festival of Watches. Stores include Westime, Porsche Design, Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Patek Philippe, The Tourbillon Store, Montblanc, Hublot, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and more. Even though the event will go from October 10-13, the 10th is probably the only evening with extended store h
The movement of L.U.C Tourbillon Esprit de Fleurier Limited Edition Watch From Chopard luxurious is engraved by hand with floral designs
The movement - that you should be able to say - is engraved by hand with floral designs. You see just part of it through the partially squelettisé dial, but the entire movement is decorated with this style. In addition, luxurious Chopard uses 18 gold k for main movement plates.
Need your valued opinions!
Hello all, new here to the forum but a long time lurker. Always been into rolex (sub 14060M, Explorer II, both gone), now a DJII fluted bezel blue dial and a sub 114060, but....recently contemplating an AP 15400 blue dial. As many I do have some doubts about the size so I would like to hear your opinionsOfcourse, at the end of the day I should buy the watch if I like it, but would like to hear your thoughts anyway! (and btw, I think the 15450 dial is too small, and 15300 you can't get new anymore..)The pictures are of a rosegold version a tried on at the AD.
Big dilemma...
As some of you may already know me, I have a 7 piece collection, 3 Pams, 1 Blancpain, 3 Rolex, and my latest piece the PP 5712, oops sorry that makes 8.Anyways I am also realizing the fact, as another distinguished member here, that fewer is better, so basically I am skimming down my collection to 2 or 3 pieces, of course my 5712, Rolex sub LV that I should get soon, and for the 3rd piece am hesitating, either keep my Daytona 116515 in RG, it's a beautiful watch but for me to put on very limited occasions, the lack of date is a serious hassle for me, or get an aquanaut, love the RG but can't afford it before a very long time having just gotten the 5712, well in fact after flipping all my watches sure I could afford it, but having already 1 watch worth 27.000 euros is something I never thought would happen so having 2 would be quite a shock, so let's say the 5167 SS, in any case I wouldn't buy the PP before quite a long period as I don't want to buy something which I don't really want a
Incoming - SD43!
After trading in my 114060 for the SD43, I think I've found the perfect diver for me. Ladies and gents, I love this watch. Everything about it, from the wrist presence, dial, cyclops, bracelet, 60 min graduated bezel and the latest movement...this thing rocks! Sure it's heavier and bigger than my Sub, but I actually like that and feel it is the perfect size...even for a daily wear like I'll be using it. So far it's only Day 1 but I can't take my eyes off this watch, it hits the mark on everything in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
