Audemars Piguet Watch Manufacture
An interesting time at the various Audemars Piguet watch manufacture facilities leads to an interesting article I wrote in Haute Living. The full text of the Audemars Piguet manufacture article is here, but I've gone ahead and put images from the visit in the gallery below. Enjoy, I think AP fans and general watch lovers will find it a good read. #gallery-2 { margin: auto; } #gallery-2 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 20%; } #gallery-2 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-2 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; }
15202 - issues with manual winding
After a few weeks of non-wear, I ran into a scare and would appreciate some insights from the movement gurus re: a 15202 I-series with the 2121 movement.My questions are:Is it possible to have an issue with this movement where it can be wound through the self-winding mechanism but NOT manually?If not, what may be the cause(s) of the manual winding mechanism to not work in isolation (i.e. rest of the watch works just fine)?Background if you have the time:Quote:

Rolex AD Price question
I have seen on the Rolex website the submariner 114060 advertised for ?5,250 yet the same 2018 model for sale on eBay for ?5,500+ Up to ?6,000 hope this doesnt sound like a silly question but do dealers actually sell them for ?5,250 or will they be more expensive in store.
