H. Moser & Cie.s Marketing Takes Aim at Apple
The smartwatch game has many in the watch world on the edge of their seats, and yesterday's Apple Watch launch is only part of the picture. Since late last year, a number of watch brands in Switzerland (and elsewhere) have been mobilizing, figuring out new strategies that will allow them to compete with Apple's high-profile new product. Brands like Montblanc, Frederique Constant and Alpina have thrown their hats in the ring quickly, debuting new wearable technology to complement their conventional wristwatches. So it was with bated breath that experts and rivals awaited H. Moser & Cie.'s new release. Beginning last week, the Neuhausen-based manufacture dropped hints of a major new debut. Marcello C Rising: Watching The Growth Of This Impressive German Watch Maker
Marcello C is going places quickly. The growing German watch maker came out of the mind of an ex Oris master watch maker 15 years ago. Just when the mechanical watch was making a comeback, Marcello C started hammering out extremely high quality watches for unheard of low prices. At that time, the philosophy was simple; do not reinvent the wheel. Marcello C is not a design innovator, and it does not need to be. Marcello C excels at taking handsome, classic designs and making very good watches based on them. The most distinctive quality of a Marcello C watch is that the watch is built better, and functions with more accuracy that most watches costing twice their price. This direction has allowed Marcello C to take a lead role as one of the fastest growing small watch companies. Saving money on not having to test designs, they focus on quality. Let others make the mistakes and produce what the consumer clearly wants. Perusing the Marcello C collection, you will see all familiar faces. The
ROO resale
For those of you who have owned and then resold a ROO, how is the resale?I'm considering getting a new ROO Ti and am just thinking about down the road if I end up wanting to sell and something else.
OMG i just did it!!!!
So as you all know I recently purchased an Omega Speedmaster, the man on the moon. When I returned home with my timepiece I had noticed scratches on the caseback lug due to the original bracelet being changed to a leather strap by a negligent employee. I immediately called to discuss the issue with the sales manager and in which he offered to replace the timepiece. Today they called me back to let me know that my Speedmaster had arrived and was in store to pick up. I was ecstatic! I couldn't wait to get off work to go pick up my new Speedmaster. Hours later I went to the Omega boutique to exchange the damaged time piece with the new one, while waiting for the sales manager to retrieve my new watch from the back room, I was drawn to the large display case next to the register which held the Aqua Terra 15000 gauss. After the sales manager returned from the back room with my new timepiece, I was distracted by the gorgeous Aqua Terra, and proceeded to ask the sales manager to view the piec
