Blancpain CEO Marc Hayek Takes Podium at Silverstone
Blancpain CEO Marc Hayek and driving partner Peter Kox drove their Lamborghini Gallardo to another win in the Super Trofeo auto racing series at the historic Silverstone (UK) road course last weekend. The fourth event in the series took place within the context of the British F3/GT Championship. Renowned for its varied race course enabling top speeds of 190+ mph, Silverstone welcomes all kinds of competitions throughout the year including the MotoGP, Superbike and World Aerobatic championships. To celebrate the championship racing series, Blancpain introduced the 300 piece limited edition Super Trofeo flyback chronograph at Basel this year. The 43.5mm DLC case houses a NAC-treated Caliber F185 movement with black mainplate and bridges. The 308 part manual winding movement provides hour, minute, small seconds and date display at 6 o'clock, as well as chronograph indications with a central sweep seconds hand, 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, and of course

So originally I had set the budget to get a Nautilus 5711, Royal Oak 15202 and a stainless Daytona (or just one Platona). Unfortunately, someone close to me was diagnosed with a terrible disease and I decided to give him half the watch budget to help with medical bills. With a new budget I decided on selling my old Royal Oak and getting the Jumbo + Daytona. Haven't ordered the Daytona yet but I'm actively looking and should be soon.Thanks to takuya (an awesome seller) for the fast delivery. Anyone in between sizes on the Jumbo? I feel like it's either too tight or too loose playing with just the one link. Thinking of getting the 1-1/2 link. Will be calling AP on Monday to see how much.

Greetings. Just created my profile a few days ago, so thought I should introduce myself here on Omega, and share pics of my two Omega pieces.My Aqua Terra was my first mechanical watch. It was a gift from my wife while we were visiting the island of St. Martin in 2004 (wow, time flies). As we left the store with my new Omega on my wrist, I claimed this is the last watch I'll ever need, honey. Oops.A couple of years later, I noticed my Rolex AD was wearing a beat-up old Speedmaster one day. I bought it as-is, and sent to RGM for overhaul/restoration. Love my Speedmaster!
