Christophe Claret 21 Blackjack
Christophe Claret has released teaser images of his next new creation, called 21 Blackjack, which will officially debut next month during Baselworld. Coming on the heels of the Adagio’s launch last month in Geneva, 2011 is shaping up to be an annus mirabilis for the master from Le Soleil D'Or. Find wallpaper and pricing inside. The 21 Blackjack combines traditional timekeeping functions (hours and minutes) with three mechanically-animated games of chance: Blackjack (with a striking mechanism), roulette, and a dice game. Precisely how these games function remains in the shadows for the moment. We know that the dial contains a total of 5 windows: two for the bank activated by a push-button at 10 o'clock, and three for the player activated by a push-button at 8 o'clock. The hours and minutes are displayed quite traditionally by center-mounted metal and ruby or metal and ceramic hands. The 45mm case is available in four versions: grey titanium, black PVD-treated titanium, black PVD-tr
My Gift Giving Theory: Not What They Want, But What You Want Them To Have
The gift giving season is upon us, and at least for myself, the biggest issue is always, "what should I get ____?!" Of course, the commercialized nature of the season imbibes us with the notion that our paramount motivation for the next few monthsis ardently selecting those gifts that, "they will remember/will mean something to them/will make them think fondly of me forever." Often times this task requires far more dedication and thought than is possible for busy people such as ourselves.Let me first proclaim that the prospect of successful gift giving would be an almost non-issue if money were not a question. There is an almost infinite wealth of glorious gift ideas at our disposal if we could assert a large budget on the matter. Alas, we are woefully limited by the meager budgets we often set aside for such tangential luxuries as the giving of thoughtful gifts to others. So what are we do to? Even those loved ones whom which we know so well can present a quandary when it comes to sele
Thinking about a 15202
The more I look at it the more I am mesmerized by it. I think it would make a good companion to the 5712 and the chronometre bleu. But I'd probably have to part with one or two of my watches to make room so question is which would you part with? These are the watches in my collection that I wear the least (though I wear the ROC more than the other two) but the ROC was my first nice watch. Also would you think having a Jumbo and a ROC would be too repetitive? Option A: Sell SubC Date + IWC Portuguese 75th anniversary LE in steel for 15202stOption B: Sell AP ROC Panda 26300st and get 15202st

I was there on the last day of the exhibition and they were giving out multiples of books to the visitors. 4 clues to make it easier:-the watch has a moon phase -black dial-not limited edition-currently i have 5164, wouldn't want another sport watch. The real reason why I'm giving out the book is because I want to say big big thank you to every members in this forum especially the pledge members for providing insight full information on Patek watch. You guys have truly poison my mind. This forum is a great learning experience for people who are new to luxury watches like myself. I wouldn't call myself a Patek collector or a watch collector for that matter, rather just an admirer of great watches. Thus the book will mean much more
