Speedmaster 57 Retro
I haven't seen anyone talking about this model which is surprising because I think it's one of the best watches from Basel this year.I loved the Speedmaster 57 when they first introduced it two years ago, but the lack of the broad arrow hour hand definitely bothered me. They called it the 57, but it lacked identity. I liked that they used it in the sub dial, but thought it would have been better as the hour hand. I also didn't like the PCLs which have also been changed for this version. Now the center links are brushed and the outer thinner links are polished.They have addressed those concerns, but they made another design choice that I'm conflicted about.Vintage Lume.I'm conflicted because I think this version looks fantastic. The black dial and the tan color of the lume look great together. I also like how the lume areas are recessed instead of applied indices. Doing it again: Horus Straps on PAM233
As a follow-up to my wonderful thread started way back when of putting a Rubber B on a PAM 233 (dot dial), I present to you this new PAM 233 of mine with a new rubber strap made by Horus Straps.Notes:1. No steel tubes used2. Retained new clasp3. Rubber is more flexible than Rubber B4. Colored pattern is only on top & sides of Horus, not underneath (it's not set all the way through the band)So far I'm liking it!

DD bracelet
Just curious as to owners of PM sports models if you stay away from the DD36 or DD40 because of the lack of a glide lock or oyster lock in the bracelet.I have tried some on but cant seem to get them to fit as well as my BLRO and Smurf.Thanks.

BLNR and SD43 in same collection
I own the BLNR and lately I find myself looking at more and more pictures of the SD43. I got my BLNR on my honeymoon and absolutely love the watch. It's a special watch to me so flipping it is not in the cards. I also have a Speedy Pro which I rotate with the BLNR. Could you find enough room in a small collection for both?
