3 Rolex plus cash for 5712?
I've been after another brand of watch for a while now after 10 years of only having Rolex. I initially looked at AP RO's but after trying them of have decided they are not for meAfter always aspiring to own a PP, I think now may be the time to take the plungeFinancially, I'd need to trade my LVc, BLNR and 114060 plus about 10-15k cash. This would leave me with Daytona C, Pespi and KermitAm I doing the right thing? I know it's ultimately my decision but I'd just appreciate some input from some like minded people (my friends and family could/t care less about watches )
The saturation point...
No doubt the Internet has fanned the sales of watches to unexpected levels. Volume of watches sold and prices have gone through the proverbial roof since the coming about of the Internet. Even during the “rough” times resulting from the Chinese authorities brief fight against corruption, etc., the demand for Swiss watches has been unprecedented. However, for the past few months I have been wearing my black ceramic dial GMT every day. And the more I wear it, the more I like it and grow attached to it. It seems as if I my limbic system has finally become lucidly saturated with so many watches. And it feels good to be released from the
A serial number GMT II is what year?
What year did the A series GMT II come out? Also, when did the solid end links come out in that model?
Correct way to pull the rolex crown?
Hi everyone. Was wondering if there is a correct way to pull the crown to adjust the date/time. I have a new dj 116234 and maybe am too delicate/scared to pull the crown. I can't seem to pull it in the second position (date position) very easily. I get it in the 3/4 th attempt. So I am doing something wrong? Am I supposed to use force or should it be easy? Is the crown a bit stiff since its a new watch?I use my thumb and index finger against the case to pull. Is this correct? Please help me to do it the correct way. Thanks
