Urwerk Encourages Obsessive Accuracy Tinkering With EMC Watch Movement
Pretty soon, high-end Geneva-based watch maker Urwerk, will release a watch that includes their new EMC mechanical movement - a mechanism that will no doubt appear ironic and perhaps insane to those not acquainted with the passions that drive the mechanical watch industry. In short, the EMC blurs the lines between mechanical and quartz timing regulation in an amusingly obsessive way that points to the sheer limits of how much your average watch aficionado is willing to endure. Urwerk calls the EMC the first "mechanical smart watch movement," so let's find out what it is all about.A little background info first so that you'll understand all of this. 5127 Dial Question
Did the 5127 come in only one dial color?I see references to silver/ivory/opaline, yet the pictures are all similar. I did find a comment online that there was, in fact, only one dial color, however, I can't confirm this. Any help would be appreciated. I'm shopping for a 5127J and want to ensure I'm asking the right questions and don't want to be surprised with the dial color. Thanks. LS
Tudor Black Bay Bracelets
Just wondering if anyone knows if the bracelets from the original ETA BB Tudors will fit on the next gen in-house BB models with the rivet bracelets. When it comes available, looking to get a new Tudor GMT. Apparently, case dimensions are identical to the other 41mm BBs with in-house and I love the leather strap option. Wondering if I could fit my old BBN bracelet to the newer Tudor.
Trusted seller buying question
Looks like David SW will be my trusted seller of choice. If I purchase a submariner which is out of warranty should I have it serviced as soon as I receive it?
