De Bethune DB29 Maxichrono Tourbillon Watch With Central Chronograph
Since its establishment in 2002, the Swiss independent?De Bethune?has aspired to set itself?apart from the rest by masterfully balancing on the verge of traditional watchmaking and innovative design and engineering. That is something beautifully proven by their DB25LT Tourbillon or the DB28 Digitale?and so it is of little surprise that their latest model which they just announced at Baselworld 2014 is another bridge between the two controversial sides of watchmaking: traditional design elements and high-tech features. The DB29 Maxichrono Tourbillon combines both, but how it achieves that becomes obvious only after a closer look under its hoodC or dial, rather. Its name gives no room for misunderstandings: the DB29 Maxichrono Tourbillon packs an in-house chronograph movement and couples it with one of the most high-tech tourbillons that we have seen in a while. I'm an Omega owner again - with a Panda!
I had this one a few years ago and regretted selling it, and randomly was able to grab one again. Love the Panda. Classic look with some modern touches - really tremendous value and well proportioned IMO.
Options to change my Speedmaster's dial
Hi everyone, first post so please be gentle. I picked up a Speedmaster Date a little over a year ago when the local shop was clearing out their Omega stock at a substantially reduced price. Only thing is, it was the all silver model. While it looks good, I'd prefer it had been the black dial and bezel. Is this something a dealer would be willing to swap out for me? I've read that they will not customize, I'm simply hoping they'll replace with parts from the same model. I'd considering having it done elsewhere, but I'm worried about Omega refusing to honor any warranty work if it should ever be necessary. Thanks!

Coffee table Books on Patek
I am in the midst of building a nice little library of books covering those watches owned in past or present. One notable absentee is a PP Nautilus or PP Steel watches. In keeping with their watch namesakes they seem to cost a fortune and On the basis It will be an occasional read it's not worth the money.I keep looking on eBay but have drawn blanks. Has anyone out there got a book they may be looking to sell or have tips were to look.
