JCK 2015: Ball Watch Engineer II Volcano Features New Antimagnetic Case
In 2014, Ball Watch broke new ground in antimagnetic watch technology with the introduction of its Engineer II Magneto S, a watch that featured an inner shield, made of a patented alloy called “mumetal,” which protected its mechanical movement from the adverse effects of magnetic fields. This year, the company takes the concept a step further with the Engineer II Volcano, which boasts an entire case made of antimagnetic mumetal. I got my first look at the watch this week at the JCK watch and jewelry fair in Las Vegas. Why “Volcano?” Because, the company says, volcanoes are among the most ideal environments for exploration and research into antimagnetic technologies because of their natural links to strong magnetic fields; volcanoes inspired Ball Watch’s researchers to further develop the magnetism-resistant mumetal alloy beyond its initial usage, as a protective inner “diaphragm” surrounding the movement, and incorporating it into the components
Breitling Diver Pro Rubber on Windrider Is it Heresy?
One of the many topics discussed on the Forums of Breitlingsource or not, should be your Breitling watches on rubber, especially rubber Diver Pro bracelet, especially when the watch is not a diving or professional models. In particular, I refer to models such as the Breitling Windrider and for the series of watches Bentley.
INCOMMING - a long lost one...

PAM00512 or some other Panerai?
Hi All,I recently started a thread (in this and the Rolex forum) asking for opinions on whether I should buy a PAM00512 or another Rolex (the 16613 Bluesy). Got great responses, and after reviewing the comments and trying on the Bluesy and realizing it is not for me, I ruled it out, and decided that I want to go with a Panerai.I really like the PAM00512 (have tried in on twice), but before I pull the trigger I would like your views on whether there are other Panerais I should be considering (I am a relative newbie to the Panerai world). To help out, here is what I like about the 512:1. The case size. I have relativey small wrists, and like the idea of 42mm, and that it fits nicely under a cuff. 2. Manual Wind. This will not be a watch I wear every day, and so I see no advantage in having it be an automatic.3. The clear case back. I don't have one, and think that its a neat thing to have on a manual watch.4. The overal look, and that fact that I think it will look great with b

Hi everyone,I just received my first Rolex as a gift this Christmas. BLNR. I love it but curious if it will lose significant value if Baselworld produces a new gmt blnr with newer movement? Thanks
