Breitling 40 Year Anniversary Chrono-Matic QP and 1461 Limited Editions
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of their first automatic chronograph movement, Breitling is introducing two limited editions of its Chrono-Matic model. The first is the Chrono-Matic 1461, a stainless steel edition of 2,000 pieces combining a chronograph with a calendar that requires adjustment once each leap-year. The second, in red gold, is a chronograph with perpetual calendar in red gold, limited to just 125 pieces and called the Chronomatic QP.The numeric component of the Chrono-Matic 1461 name refers to the number of days the calendar can “remember” the date. The day, date and month are displayed via subdials with straight hands that create an instrument panel look. The 1461, shown below, comes on a woven steel Aero Classic bracelet.The Chrono-Matic QP’s movement consists of almost 500 parts. Beautiful Temption Big Date Cherubin GDA Limited Edition Watch Available
Though I have mentioned Temption Cherubin watches before, I've never featured the Cherubin GDA model. Another limited edition (500 pieces) Cherubin model. This is likely to be one of the most sophisticated Cherubin watches, and this model is beautiful with its red trimmed parts. The watch also comes in different trims including blue, green, and a few others I believe. The Cherubin watches are at the top of the German Temption's line-up. Highly stylized watches that clearly retain class and dignity without succumbing to any fleeting appeal of avant garde design. Hi,I am looking at a new Omega SMP 300M Chronometer with black ceramic bezel. Beautiful watch and the price seems right new at around $3,200.00.Here is my question. The older Omega Seamaster Professional's seem to sell for closer to $1,500 - $2,000. Can I expect to lose $1K in depreciation in 1-3 years on an Omega? I guess that seems a high depreciation rate, is that why I should consider a Rolex Sub or Explorer?Appreciate your thoughts on this.
