Welcome back to an watches-dealer original series, where we discuss important stores that sell watches all over the world. Each store we profile has an interesting story to tell about where they operate and who they sell to. Whether you buy watches from brick and mortar retailers or prefer to buy watches online, these are the stores that help shape our watch culture around the globe. There is a long list of stores to cover, but if there is a retail location in your favorite city that we simply can't miss, let us know in the comments below. Here is a map of stores we have covered so far.Where to buy watches in Naples, Florida?Rather than a jewelry store that also happens to sell watches, in Naples, Florida, you have Exquisite Timepieces which was started by Steve Richardson and his brother in 1998 based upon their shared passion for watches.?It started with their personal desire to wear and collect the finest timepieces (which began when they were in their pre-teen years).?Collecting ti
Parmigiani Tonda 1950 Watch
I quite like this watch even though it is relatively simple. Just good old fashioned good looks - Parmigiani style. Really a good formal watch for their collection. Coming in gold, it has an in-house made movement and quite a soothing style if you ask me.Read my full article on the Parmigiani Tonda 1950 watch at Haute Living here.
Introducing: The Casio G-Shock MR-G Limited Edition 'Hammer Tone' (Are You Ready For A $6,200 G-Shock?)
If there were a search for the last honest watch on Earth C a watch that embodies down to the deepest fiber of its being what it really means to be a genuine tool watch, and not just a (generally overpriced) illustration of what a tool watch used to be, chances are very good that it would be a Casio G-Shock. Unloved by many who think of themselves as real watch lovers, the G-Shock is very much loved by those who need a watch that will put up with the very roughest use the very roughest and most dangerous jobs can dish out. G-Shocks are worn by more than a few hipsters and would-be hipsters these days, but they're also worn by the thousands by police officers, firefighters, special forces operators, regular Army guys and gals C you name it. A $150 Tough Solar G-Shock will last basically indefinitely and will as for absolutely nothing in return for flawless performance other than that you don't expose it to a nuclear explosion. So what the heck is Casio doing in offering a $6,200 G-Shock
Super disappointed with audemars piguet
Recently i just manage to get a brand new piece of the new navy roo but just few days of wearing the movement jammed . Looking through the caseback i noticed that a screw had came off thus jamming the movement. Rolex and panerai do not have such problem even an ETA movement is more reliable. Sent in my watch for servicing and told me it will take 2 months. Write into ap website and they just redirected back to the service center with the standard reply telling me a screw had misaligned (which is what i reported to them ) . It seems that they are not very interested in taking care of their customers. This is my first and most likely last AP pieces that i will ever own . Super disappointed for such a luxury piece
