AT and leather strap
Hi all,I have an Omega Aqua Terra mid size chronometer (231.10.39.21.06.001) with the steel bracelet and I'd like to replace it with a leather strap with deployant clasp (similarly to how AT could be also sold with). Can you guys help me identifying what parts I would need to order on OFREI or similar sites? Probably I should have bought the watch with the leather strap to start with... it seems it is quite an expensive add-on...Thanks in advance!John

FINALLY! Incoming!
As some of you might know, I posted on this forum here, asking for help, trying to choose between a 111 and 000. Thanks for the suggestions guys, you certainly helped me make up my mind! But first, a little background...Four years ago, I'd been looking at possibly getting a Panerai. I registered myself and was an ardent lurker on the Paneristi forums. Lurk, lurk, lurk, lurk... save, save, save, save... finally, I had the resources to pull the trigger on a Panerai. I had decided then to go for the Pam176 - I liked the titanium build, and its clean dial appealed to me. So I started the hunt for a used 176, but just my luck... nothing came up in my searches on Paneristi. So I moved on to other forums, TRF being one of them. Naturally (and especially since this is a Rolex forum), I deviated and started getting interested in the Submariner instead. All of a sudden, my interest had suddenly taken a massive turn. Two years of careful research seemed to have been flushed down the drain! I spen
The Art of the Hunt
Longtime lurker here, suddenly with the ability to purchase a new Rolex. I was recently at my local AD and asked about any stainless sport models and from the back he brought out a new BLNR. I was overcome with joy, until I tried it on. It looked too small. I was deflated. I inquired about the SD43 and he politely informed me they do not have any and the waiting list was not taking additional names. I have very little experience with high end timepieces but I have tracked down some very elusive new cars with great success. My question is are there any techniques to finding your desired watch from an AD without just being lucky? My AD has 7 locations. Should I try asking at each location? I purchased a datejust for my wife's push present 3 years ago, so I do have a purchase history with them. Are there any AD's that might ship? I hate the fact this isn't an easy process but I know not to get discouraged. I really don't want to get one from a grey dealer. I know there is no real differen
Daytona's minute hand (chrono), does it jitter sometimes?
Is it is normal for the minute hand on the Daytona's chronograph to jitter sometimes, while moving when a minute is about to pass instead of moving swiftly? I tried taking a video, but it cannot capture it. With the naked eye you can see the movement is not necessarily smooth. Sometimes it moves swiftly and sometimes it jitters a bit before moving to indicate a minute is over. I understand it won't do it in one swift move. But it seemed though the hand jitters(to and fro motion) before it moves!Any comments?
