Patek Philippe Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990/1A Watch In Steel
Steel lovers can rejoice as 2014 is about high-complication steel models from Patek such as this new Nautilus ref. 5990/1A. When it comes to Patek Philippe, the Nautilus design is one that needs no introduction. ?While I wouldn't consider myself an expert on the brand, I am fairly certain that their latest definitely has some new tricks up its sleeve. With the name "Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph" (ref. 5990/1A), I think the astute observer will recognize what sort of complications we're dealing with. ?I want to focus on the "travel time" portion of the name first, as it's one of the more innovative approaches I've seen as of late.To track the two different time zones, Patek has actually gone with two hour hands. ?The skeletonized one is for tracking your home time zone, while the solid one tracks the local hour. ?This accomplishes two things quite handily.First, when you're still at home, the solid hour hand covers the hollowed-out one, and no one's the wiser. ?When you're traveling,

Navitimer 01 LE
Does the Nav 01 LE have options...like a buckle or clasp leather strap? Is it weird that I have any opportunity to buy a 15XX/2000 BNIB complete with papers stamped this past March? This is some really old new stock, right? They are wanting $6300, but with none on the market that I can find, not sure if this is good deal?I've only had one Breitling (Bentley GT) and lost pretty big when selling. I would like to add a chrono with date in this size range. I sold my Daytona due to it's smaller size and no date. I also figured I could put a mesh bracelet on the Navi for a classy summer option.Any help/tips/opinions is greatly appreciated as I try to add a chrono with date.Thanks.
I attached a cyclops on my daytona
Why you ask? Well because its so rolex. Eventhough I cant see anything if I am looking at the dial at any angle other than 90 degrees. I like it because it so rolex. Eventhough it destroys the symmetry of the dial. Im glad its there. Its so rolex. I can see the minute counter much better now. Im glad rolex glues on a second piece of sapphire on another piece of sapphire. Its very rolex of them.
