Parmigiani Unveils New Bugatti Watches at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
Parmigiani, the Swiss watch brand founded by watchmaker Michel Parmigiani, introduced two new collectors’ timepieces to its Bugatti collection, made in collaboration with the prestigious automobile maker, at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The timepieces a rose-gold version of the Bugatti Super Sport and a new titanium Bugatti Vitesse made their debut alongside a restored classic automobile, the 1935 Bugatti T57S Electron Torpedo. The event in Pebble Beach, regarded as the most prestigious of the festivals of classic automobiles held in the U.S., provided the ideal setting for Parmigiani to launch its newest Bugatti watches. The watch company, which was established in 1996 and is today part of Switzerland’s Sandoz Family Foundation, began its partnership with Bugatti in 2004, releasing such collectible timepieces as the Bugatti Type 370 and the Bugatti Super Sport, which debuted in a white-gold case in 2010. This year, Parmigiani releases a new Super Sp
How To Sell Watches Without Selling Watches
People who read aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer are generally rather enthusiastic watch lovers. They buy watches because of the design, movement and of course the utility of the piece. You people are actually the elite bunch among the world of watch consumers. The industry calls you anything from "collector" to "enthusiast" and sometimes if you are lucky, "influencer." However, the industry does not see you as the mainstream and that is because you generally are not. The mainstream these days sees the watch itself as the secondary reason to buying a watch. For them, it is about status, fashion, art and lifestyle. You can disagree with me all you like, but just visit your local department store and see what's for sale in the watch department. The fact that watches don't often sell watches actually makes it easier for big brand names and events to sell timepieces. Fashion brands often need only to put their name on a timepiece, and an event can associate itself with a limited edition watch and
New AT Black on Black
When they came out I knew I’d love them. But some of the color schemes are not for me. When I saw this, I knew I had to have it. I tried on a different one (different colors) loved the size, paid for this and waited a few weeks. Picked it up yesterday.
Was looking at this....
To do a bit of Photoshop work on it when I noticed this....I think it is more difficult to capture than the Rolex LEC.Thanks Simon
Luminor 1950 Cases
Now I have in my hands the Panerai catalog and all models are very cute. But I have a question, the Luminor 1950 cases are all the same? For example in the catalog would seem to me that the 537 has a more square case than the 321. This seems more round to me. It is an optical illusion or are they really different? My favorites are the 312 and 351. For my taste would have preferred these models with manual winding but Panerai only manufactures these models automatics.Have a nice sunday guys.
