15202 crown
Given the 15202 crown doesn't screw down, does anybody trust it swiming?
AP RG Novelty or Rolex YG DDII
I am thinking about changing up my collection a little bit and the piece in question is my DDII ... While I love the way it feels and looks, I have been thinking of changing the dial for a while now. Which brings me to the consideration of a RG Novelty... My minimal hesitation is the rubber strap but I saw a leather band option at the AP boutique. Perhaps the ROC in RG?My question is does this trade make sense? I have always wanted a DDII and was fortunate enough to source it after a long wait. I just wish the dial would be more 'intricate' like in AP's. Another variable is to get the RG SkyDweller on bracelet when it comes our later this year. Would appreciate any insight. Am I crazy to consider this?Borrowed pics
Finally.....my first PP 5167
I'm really speechless about my new 5167. It's such a nice watch - so well executed, so comfortable and refined but so casual. Man, I don't know if I'll be wearing my AP RO again for a while. The dial texture is amazing. :)
Is this a sub on Redford?
I just stumbled upon this photo online. Obviously, the 1973 fashion is simply awesome. I believe he is in London for the photo. I notice his wrist and think its a sub date. Can anyone with a better eye confirm this?
Too many Datejusts, why oh why??
This is something I have never understood about Rolex - why such an obvious oversupply of Datejusts and a deliberate undersupply of many other models? Why not cut the supply of Datejusts as well?
