AP issues?
Hi everyone,Not trying to stir the pot here but I'm seriously considering to purchase an AP, however, I'd like to hear the cons too. I currently have a Rolex TT dj41, and I would like to purchase a second one for my daily wear. The Diver, ROO elephant, and blue dial RO are my options. However, due to the price point, I want to make sure that I fully know what I'm paying for, or I stand to lose a significant amount of money if I end up with buyers remorse. I stumbled upon this YouTube video and I've read some of the complaints about AP too in the comment section of the video. https://m.youtube/watch?v=oN4TY7opDyoSome of the negative comments include: 1. Bezel scratches easily. The metal is soft compared to the one Rolex use. And the shape of the case and bezel makes it a scratch magnet. 2. The watch is not as great looking if not in pristine condition. E.g. Multiple scratches, etc 3. You are paying for prestige versus value for the watch as watch is not as durable as Rolex and has some

I can now say I am officially part of the AP club after having collected a number of Panerai's, Rolex and Cartier over the years.This is one of the first AP models I was visually drawn to with the exception of the RB2 which is very hard to find brand new and I am just too anal to buy a used watch as I cannot live with scratches or any wear at all.The package arrived at 10:30 am today on the dot and I quickly closed my office door and was tearing open the outside box like little kid on Xmas morning.My operations manager suddenly came into my office in the middle of me opening the box and was asking a question and I told her NOT NOW!!! and sent her out. Not found any threads to, so sorry if it is a duplicate.Are there any Drivers Winners Watches on the market? I searched a lot but never found one for sale. How are the prices estimated? Is there any data, results etc.? Does any of you have one? Since how long Rolex is giving in Le Mans and Daytona the watches? 1991 is this correct?In Le Mans at the 24H race at the exhibiting Rolex dealer (by the way, every year another French dealer who gets the store) I asked if they engrave my Daytona with the 24H logo, he just smiled ;-)I'm curious, thanks for replays

Hi everybody. I wanted to give an update on my upgrade from my Air King 114200. I posted, a few weeks ago, that I wanted something a bit bigger and was really wanting a sub. I went to my local AD and tried on several difference watches. I knew, going in, that I wanted a sub...that was until I tried on the Explorer 1. I put it on and immediately fell in love with it. The size is perfect, the dial is simple...yet confident...if that makes sense. It was exactly what I was looking for. I found a seller on here and pulled the trigger. I couldn't be happier and it is going to be the perfect compliment to my grandfathers 6334 that I cherish. Being a pilot, I loved my Air King. I loved the story behind it and really enjoyed wearing it. Aside from wanting something bigger...I needed something to commemorate this year. My wife and I welcomed our first child, a girl, into our family. At the same time, my wife kick the crap out of bile duct cancer (she was diagnosed when she was pregn
