Question on Omega Moon to Mars 3577.50.00
Is the Omega 3577.50.00 looked down upon? I have always liked this watch, but know very little about it. On a few other forums it seems to be looked down upon. Just wanted to know why? And wanted to know a little more about the watch. Thank you for the help.
5167A with brown rubber strap?
G'day everyone.. Just wondering anyone tried using 5167R's brown rubber strap on a 5167A? I am thinking about it but I am not sure how it will look. The center of the dial on the ss looks a tad of brown in certain angle in different lighting so I wonder.. Thank you very much for your kind feedbacks. Cheers! .. Jennifer
PAM270 opinions?
Ok this is where I'm at, I recently traded in my pam359 towards my AP (wasn't in love with the full number dial so wasn't heartbroken) but I am missing having a Pam and with the new acquisition of a day-date has rendered my TT datejust a bit obsolete. (116233 with diamond jubilee dial 2006 no box or papers)Now I've been offered a trade on a beautiful Pam270 complete set Opinions on weather it's worth the swap? I think $wise the Pam may be worth a little more but over time may not hold its value like the Rolex will (which I will just sell anyway at some point Thoughts????
Tortured logic is leading me to the Platinum Daytona
I'm sure you hardened veterans have seen this a million times - a Rolex newbie trying to talk himself into doing something crazy...There is nothing rational about wanting a 116506, but here is the twisted logic I have created for myself, after going back and forth for several months now:1) The watch I spend the most $$$ on should be the one I wear the most. Therefore, a precious metal daily wearer.2) If it is going to be a daily wearer, then it has to be able to stand up to the abuse. Therefore, a sub/daytona/gmt.3) If it is going to get scratched up from daily wear, I need to be able to polish it on occasion without having to worry about wearing away the metal. Therefore, platinum. I can appreciate the patina, but then I can polish it back up and appreciate the bling every now and then. Ergo, must get Platinum Daytona. Oh yeah - and I also think it is a stunner, and I like the heft of it. And I can go back to my BLNR if I ever come to my senses. How does this sound? Am I missing anyth
