Pairs Well With: Seiko x Giugiaro SCED035 "Ripley"
Boots? Check. Jacket? Check. M41A Pulse Rifle? Check. Now all that's needed is a suitable watch to aid in our alien-hunting endeavor. Fortunately enough, our review of the Seiko X Giugiaro SCED035 (worn by Sigourney Weaver in James Cameron's Aliens) can be found here and offers an in-depth look at the curious and iconic timepiece. The eye-catching SCED035, or "Ripley", is not only a rare and unique piece, but an excellent conversation starter as well. Interesting enough, the futuristic timekeeper was designed by automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, who also appropriately designed the DeLorean. With a limited production of only 3,000 pieces and a Japanese domestic release, the Seiko X Giugiaro SCED035 is able to satiate the desires of collectors and Aliens fans alike at around $350 in the U.S. That being said, let's dwell into the appropriate garb for combating the impending alien invasion.Barbour Sapper Jacket What better way to sport such a bold watch than with some equally-badass o
Picture request and question on AP Diver White Dial
Hi Gents,Can anyone post some wrist shots of a white dial diver for me? I need a little enabling help. Also, how does the Diver in general hold up to daily wearing? Is it a complete scratch magnet? Thanks in advance!
Every day wearing AP
Hi,Love the AP forum. For me I'm interested in the RO. Can anyone comment please on the 15202, 15300 and 15400 as daily wearers. I have a nice 116610lv and I like the reliability and durability of rolex. I think the genta design is fab but is it impracticable for the everyday? I enjoy the watch that is with me as I garden or swim but is also ok for work. Looking forward to owners thoughts. I guess I'm really wanting to hear about robustness from owners. I'd have to have a bracelet and I readily acknowledge I know very little about ap so please feel free to inform me. I'm ready to learn. Thanks in advance. Steve.
My first AP - 15300ST blue - the magical dial
Hi,I recently became the proud owner of a 15300ST with blue dial There's something special about the blue dial that makes me love this watch!Sometimes it's blue, dark blue (not the 15400ST lighter blue), and sometimes it's more anthracite (going to black).See pictures, if I wouldn't have made these pictures myself I wouldn't believe this is the same watch!I don't know if any other AP has such a beautiful, magical dial ? Maybe the 15202?
SubC or BLNR as a daily
Trying to decide between the SubC or BLNR as a dailyAbsolutely love the BLNR. And love the SubC. Both for completely different reasonsBLNR is beautiful, one of my favourite SS to exist. love the colours and overall appearance. But the centre links make it look a little too flashy for my daily style. And I've always found the bezel a little busy (I do not own this watch)SubC is my only sub at this point. I have an explorer II for GMT hand. It's a little less loud / more tool watch and suits my style a little more than the BLNR. But it is a little more common and do like BLNR overall look just a tad more although it doesn't suit me as much.I'd have to offload the SubC for the BLNR What do you all think?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
