Azimuth Xtreme-1 Collection
Azimuth and Mexican explorer Fernando Alberto Lozano Andrade have collaborated to create the new Xtreme-1 series of three watches: the Sea Hum GMT, Sea Hum 3TZ, and the Deep Diver. Fernando has previously climbed two volcanos: 19,400 foot Licancabur in Chile-Bolivia, and 16,500 foot Popocatepetl in Mexico. This year he will climb the 22,608 foot Ojos del Salado volcano on the Argentina-Chile border and dive in its crater lake. If successful, Fernando will set a world record for high altitude diving. The Xtreme-1 collection has been created for extreme sports enthusiasts. The Sea Hum 3TZ displays up to 3 time zones and is waterproof to 500m, while the Sea Hum GMT allows the quick reading of up to 2 different time zones while enabling the wearer to dive to a depth of 1500m. The Deep Diver comes in a seldom seen square titanium case. Square cases are traditionally difficult to waterproof, however Azimuth tackled this problem by creating a separate capsule to house the ETA 2826 Big Date mo

My new partner :)
Just wanted to share with you guys a new incoming that i just received this week:) Some of you may know i was pondering between a white 5711 or maybe an AP15400 well luck would have it that my go to AD gave me a call that a 5990 has magically arrived (i was on the list since launch) and i could have it if i wanted. So the plan to get a 5711 or 15400 went out the window and i went straight for it. I'm delighted !!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PAM01537 - First Panerai
I stopped by the excellent Panerai Boutique (attached to the David Rosas watch boutique) while visiting Lisbon this week. While I had looked at Panerai's previously, I had not been too serious about purchasing one because I find most a little large for my wrist size. However the 42 mm models intrigued me and looking at the online I knew I wanted to try some on.While in the boutique, the extremely helpful but not at all pushy sales associate did a great job walking me through the different models. I indicated a GMT model would be of particular interest, especially in 42 mm. She showed me several, but the PAM01537 really caught my eye. I really liked the blue second hand that was added to this model. The Power Reserve indicator on the dial was also something I quite liked. The GMT function with the forward and reverse quick 1 hour adjustments was also very slick. I thought it fit my wrist well too. The sales associate made me take a long hard look at the larger models as she ind
