Zegna and Sowind Form Partnership to Produce Zegna Timepieces
Ermenegildo Zegna, CEO of the Zegna Group, and Gino Macaluso, majority shareholder of Sowind Group, which heads Girard-Perregaux and Jeanrichard, have announced a partnership agreement for the design and production of Ermenegildo Zegna watches. The Ermenegildo Zegna Watch Collection will be available exclusively from Ermenegildo Zegna Flagship Stores around the world beginning next year. The agreement is long term, as is always necessary in the Haute Horlogerie sector. This partnership unites two sectors, Fashion and Haute Horlogerie, who may seem different yet share the same constant quest for perfection and the global mastery of a distinct expertise. The relationship between Gildo Zegna and Gino Macaluso is founded on common affinities in which the research of excellence, innovation and professional ethics prevail.Gildo Zegna (below, right) said: After the successful launch of the Centennial Limited Edition Watch developed in cooperation with Girard Perregaux, the natural progression
The New DEFAKTO Modular Eins and Akkord
It has been nearly a year since we last had ran an article on one of our favorite German brands, Defakto, and we're excited to be the first to show you their newest goods. The design-focused brand, known for their one-handed watches, have a bold, but spare aesthetic that at once speaks to the Bauhaus and military designs. Their newest release stays true to the core style of the brand, but adds a new level of interest. The Modular series, which consists of new variations on their Eins and Akkord models, take their existing designs and dresses them up with a clever combination of materials and finishes. There are two varieties, one with a steel central case and one with bronze, both featuring black PVD bezel and crowns, both measuring 42mm. Both also have a semi-coarse brushing, giving them a subtle texture. Though an almost obvious play on the existing models, the new Modular colorway creates watches with a unique ambiance and style. Dark and handsome, the contrasting materials play off

Omega 2531.80 keeping great time
I just timed my Omega SMP 2531.80 after a month and it is running 0.6 sec per day. I'm very pleased!
Milgauss VS Airking
I've always heard the Air King was basically the same as a Milgauss at a lower price. Besides the obvious of the Milgauss having a polsihed case and PCL'S with a spring assist clasp release. I've noticed the Air King is lighter and the case is thinner so am I'm right in thinking the AK doesn't have the Faraday case ? Just wondering... BTW the bracelet on the Milgauss feels more smooth and comfy.Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
