Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon 3 Jubilee Watch
At SIHH 2013, the most prestigious of the actually many prestigious new Jaeger-LeCoultre watches was a new version of the famous Gyrotourbillon. I don't think it is exactly what a lot of Gyrotourbillon fans were expecting given its return to a very classical demeanor and style, but it is a truly new Gyrotourbillon with some interesting features. As part of the master collection, this new piece is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon 3 Jubilee watch. The term "Jubilee" (anniversary celebration) is conspicuously in the watch's name even though Jaeger-LeCoultre doesn't mention any specific anniversary around the piece's release. If there was to be an anniversary it would be of the 180th anniversary of the beginning of what is today Jaeger-LeCoultre back in 1833. That is as much as I can surmise. Jaeger LeCoultre AMVOX5 World Chronograph
The Jaeger LeCoultre AMVOX5 world chronograph is part of their series AMVOX success which is a collaboration with Aston Martin. The watch uses the automatic movement of Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 715 and is the first AMVOX combine the chronograph and a world clock with seat of Aston Martin Gaydon representative GMT.
Does anyone know how many limited edition speedy/rail/seamaster there will be?
Just wondering if anyone knows the LE number for these newest limited editions. I hear you can purchase them as a trio...I wonder if you get a better price if you buy all 3. Josh
Speedy Chrono Second Hand as Date Indicator...
I was given an interesting idea today - to use the Chrono second hand as a date pointer. So my question is not if this is a worthy idea or not, but rather will it wear or harm the Chrono movement by resting in an awkward position for 24hrs at a time? Thanks.
London best shopping/browsing ??
I'm midlands based and taking a trip to London tomorrow (Saturday). I'm going alone so i can browse till my heart is content and I'm really interested in looking at Tudors old and new and who knows I may pick up a Black Bay Red on a bracelet if I can get a deal ( is 10 or 15 % realistic?)Even if I don't end up buying I'm intent on having a look at as many Ad's and used /vintage dealers as I can. Anyone have any suggestions as to which areas to concentrate on ?Thanks.
