Bertolucci Giro Chronograph Watches Have A Freaky Face
It is entirely possible that my warped mind sees watches differently than other people do. Over the course of my writing about Bertolucci watches, they have always looked interesting, but a bit strange to me. I finally connected a few of the things that some of their common Chronograph models remind of me. Maybe you agree? You can tell that these watches are all part of the same family. Some or all are Bertoluccia Giro (All-Black Giro see here), and some are just called Bertolucci Quartz Chronograph watches. No matter the name, they each have large, gaping mouths. Why? I couldn't tell you. Though here are some of the possible design influences. My favorite is near the bottom of course. Each is highly disturbing in its own way. Bertolucci might need to occasionally revise their "Mediterranean Inspiration" sloganto something else.I like Bertolucci watches mostly, they are nicely made and designed. Often with quartz movements, but good lookers for the fashion crowd. Though these watches a
Huge success of the first watch chronograph SLR calibre 36-R
The world of watchmaking is disturbed by the huge success of the first watch chronograph SLR calibre 36-R, which was initially presented in Basel-world in 2004. She inspired the mark for the development of the TAG Heuer SLR for Mercedes-Benz shows who has proved once more the watch brand expertise and creative approach.
Long shot, but wish to ask anyway: Bumblebee w/ APBands Yellow corsa?
Hello all, I realize this is a long shot but I wish to ask if anyone has any pictures of a Bumblebee with APBand's Prototipo Yellow Corsa 24mm strap.I recently put on the OEM Rubber strap and I am loving the practicality and comfort, as opposed to the factory's hornback. However, I now realize that yellow in the strap is a lot .. cooler. :)Besides, I think that style will work best with rotating the BB with the GPC.Originally I wanted a custom strap, based off the Singapore F1 strap that I had on my Panda. But that fell through, and now after trying on the rubber, I think my best alternative and best to suit all-around purposes would be the 24mm with the GP style. The decision to go with the 24mm has in no small part been the result of trying on the Sebastian Buemi at the AD. What a beautiful watch that is, not done justice in pictures, and the wider/newer/Diver-like rubber strap looks great on the 42mm case! Thus, I am reallllly hoping someone can find a picture or more of the BB with t

Go for it? A 5711 blue dial, recently overhauled by PP
I got hooked on the 5711, and the one I am considering is from 2006, but recently overhauled/polished by PP 2 months ago. It's 9 years old with the screws bracelet. Has complete papers, with overhaul statement. Even the mail-in paper to register it with PP. The recent overhaul is a big plus factor, I think.I was wondering if there would be any benefits to wait and try to find a newer one? At first, I couldn't believe why anyone would want this rather plain-looking VERY EXPENSIVE SS watch. I had never even held one, so went to see what it was all about. The funny part is that the 5711 was covered in plastic wrap, so when I first looked at it, I decided it was too dull and underwhelming. Nothing spoke to me. My friend with me also agreed it was just dull. Then the dealer took off the wrap, and I could hear opera, you know, arias streaming from the blue dial. It was like magic, the twinkling of the indexes. That's all it took, and I got hooked. My friend changed his opinion 180 degrees, a
