They've had "hundreds of requests" for a reduced size version of their C60 Trident model, and are now adding 38mm versions of the Trident. This is my first Audemars purchase. I am new to high end quality watches. I have a small wrist, so the 31.5mm size is fine with me. I'll likely switch to a cognac alligator strap since this will be worn daily/casually and I tend to wear cognac colored accessories casually.Is the 2080 movement a very reliable movement?Any general information you think a newby like myself should have? Rose gold watch with platinum wedding band?
Anyone on here wear this combo? I am considering a couple of pateks, the 5127 and 5146. On both of these, I prefer the look of the rose gold to the white gold, particularly the dial-case contrast. I think the rose gold looks funny with my platinum band, however, and I don't want to swap out the band.Any thoughts would be appreciated.
