Introducing The Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 4
Today we've got the latest installment in Harry Winston's Histoire De Tourbillon series, a collection of watches meant to explore various directions in which the tourbillon can evolve. The Histoire De Tourbillon 4 features a unique triple-case tourbillon in an attempt to counteract the effects of gravity from all angles, as unlike the pocketwatches for which the tourbillon was invented, our wristwatches are constantly in motion. 2 OF 3 Triple Cage Tourbillon The tourbillon mechanism in this watch is one of the most complex out there. There are three concentric cages, each of which sits at a different angle in relation to the cage outside of it, and each of which rotates at a different speed. My new Panda!!!!
So this is a bit overdue, but I know how you all love pics, so I needed to at least post one. Last week, I picked up a Panda. It is not my first AP ever, I had a white dialed RC back in 2008/2009 or so, but it is my first since then. I have to say that the workmanship on an AP is just unmatched compared to my Rolexes, Panerais and IWC. The polished bezel is just BEAUTIFUL!! I am so hooked that I am going to pick up my 2nd in the next few days, but I will keep you guessing on that! For now, here is a wristshot of the new Panda on the bracelet. I do have some straps as well that came with the watch. The next AP that I will be getting is on a bracelet all the time (hint, hint), so it might encourage me to do a swap! Here she is:
Should I add a Patek 5146J?
Sorry I made a mistake on the reference and dont know how to delete this post. Please see my rectified post. Thank you
Who else has used a Rolex as motivation?
Good people of the Rolex Forums.....Who else has used a Rolex as motivation for accomplishing a goal? I have been drawn to these beautiful watches for the past decade but have not found that I have earned one yet. I view the Rolex as a symbol of status and accomplishment and although I have surpassed many milestones (including promotions, credentials, etc) I haven't been able to feel I have earned it yet...Needless to say, after nearly a decade I have my heart set on the exact Rolex I want and set out very specific goals for me this year to accomplish and once done, to buy that son of a gun. I would love to hear of other stories or inputs from you where you used a Rolex as motivation and your success stories?
