Vintage Watch Shopping In Japan: Private Eyes, An Incubator For Collecting, Not Investing
Beyond the highly-stylized entrance of Private Eyes lays what can be best described as an anachronistic incubator for vintage watch collecting. Not hyper-speculative, inflation-averse watch collecting, but the type of passionate, reverential collecting that has more to do with a true?respect for old-world design of both the aesthetic and technical sort. I am 4 for 4 the last 3 months walking into Patek ADs and finding both 5167s and 5164s in stock. Anyone else have any thoughts? Thanks!
Thoughts on this addition?
Here's the state of my collection today: I have a 5711 (blue dial of course) on hold at my AD. Thinking about adding it and selling off the Diver. 5711 too repetitive or the perfect addition? Thanks all!
A rare Panerai 3646, my kind of story
Apologies if this has already been seen on here, I did scan back a few pages to check
