Peter Speake\Marin’s New Marin 2 Mk 1 “Thalassa”
It is rare for one man to design every component of a watch's case, dial and movement. Peter Speake-Marin’s new Thalassa is such a watch. The harmonious design incorporates Peter’s trademark elements, and so is instantly recognizable as his. The blued\steel of the outer dial, hands and seconds wheel create a nautical ambiance which inspired the name “Thalassa”, a sea goddess from Greek mythology and the personification of the Mediterranean Sea. The case is Peter’s iconic “Piccadilly” design, rendered in 18K white gold. The basic shape was inspired by the cases used to house prototype movements Peter worked with early in his career. The name “Piccadilly” honors the formative years Peter spent working in restoration at Somlo Antiques in Piccadilly, London. The lugs assure a solid connection to the case, with a screwed solid stainless steel bar attaching the strap to the lugs. You may enlarge the images with a click.Inside resides the s
Grey Market AP 15400 - Is It Real?
Hey Guys,I bought my first grey market watch and now paranoia has set in. This is a new AP 15400. While looking at videos on YouTube someone pointed out that the type of clasp on my watch is a tell tale sign that the watch is a fake and it seems that they are some AP 15400 that have a different placement of the screws on the inner clasp.Anyone with any knowledge of the difference in these clasps or how I can go about getting this watch authenticated?I have included pictures and can answer any other questions. Thanks in advance.John

Great transaction with Greg AKA Mosco below are some shots I happen to be wearing my Sub to the office when the Omega came in so I did a side by side this piece has a very nice wrist presence and the new bracelet with the micro adjustment is a fantastic upgrade!
Vintage Jumbo Tresor
Hi All, I have more experience on the vintage Rolex side - and wanted to share my first vintage Omega From my research:Omega OT 2620, Rose Gold Tresor, circa 1949.The 265 manual wind movement has an 11.1 mil serial.Stunning on my wrist due to it's 38mm size. About 9 or 10 mm high.Dial has been nicely redone and due to a service approx 2 years ago - it winds very smooth and keeps excellent time.I am intrigued with these 38mm Omegas and want to learn more, maybe looking for another in stainless.Received from Clissold in a very nice transaction a few weeks ago. Thanks for looking!Russ
