Vacheron Constantin Launches The Ultra Complicated Reference 57260, Plus Multiple Drop Dead Gorgeous New References At Watches & Wonders 2015
This is shaping up to be an absolutely astonishing year for Vacheron Constantin. Even without the Reference 57260 (which we covered for you here, and here, and here) it would have been an impressive year for VC just on the basis of its new Harmony Collection (which, you might remember, we looked at here and here, and which we also covered in the latest installment of Three on Three). But then, they dropped the Reference 57260 on us – and now, at Watches & Wonders in Hong Kong, they’ve give us even more. Let’s start with a watch we fell in love with the minute we saw the pictures: the Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955. The name is just one of the many things that sound better in French; it means “cow’s horns” – and the watch is pretty much a solid, unadulterated dose of horological pleasure. This isn’t the first time you’ve seen it, if you follow HODINKEE, but having seen it in the metal, we can assure you, it’s every
Help sizing an AP 26320st which driver????
So I bought a new 26320 and I can't find a driver that fits to size the bracelet....i have a full set of Bergeron and a rolex 2100 tool but nothing fits....1.6 is close. I am isolated 2000miles from the closest AP dealer and AP Canada tells me I have to fedex it to them and it will cost like $500 after shipping LOL. Someone please recommend a driver to size this that I can buy online and I will be very greatful.
First AP!!!
Just got my first AP!!! The finishing is off the charts, I really can't believe it! I think I'll leave it on the rubber to finish the summer off, then might look for a bracelet or leather strap later! Thanks guys!
26300 ss roc white or 15707ce all ceramic white Diver?
I would love to get your comments and suggestions based on my current collection. I have decided to pursue a 39mm 26300 ss roc white dial but someone just offered me a 15707CB white ceramic Diver.
Speedmasters Still Being Used in Space
https://.hodinkee/blog/actual...eva-today-wellI'm actually surprised that Omega doesn't talk about this more. I wonder why that is.Always nice to see watches with history still being used for their original purpose. It's awesome for people to look a their current moonwatch and be able to say that it's currently being used in space.Omega gets a lot of flak (deservedly) for all those special editions, but I give them so much credit for keeping the moonwatch as close to the originals as they have. Just goes to show how far ahead of its time the design truly was.Picture from 2014
