UTS Adventure Power Reserve Watch With Breguet-Like Inspiration
The watch above is the newer-ish UTS Adventure Power Reserve watch. UTS is a hardcore boutique tool watch maker in Germany, with a very dedicated production team and a small volume of watches made each year. It is rare that they release a totally new product, and for Basel World, that is just what they have done. The Adventure Power Reserve really don't look like anything else in their line up. In my opinion, is strongly similar to the below Breguet Moon Phase Power Reserve Ref. 7137BA/11/9V6. Minus the moon phase of course. Is that a striking dial similarity or what?Inside the Adventure Power Reserve is a manually wound Unitas caliber 6497-1 that has been modified with a power reserve indicator. It is a simple, but hardy movement. I would have liked to see a more complex movement for what this watch will inevitably cost. Hi all. I have been hunting for a 3570.50 for the past months. I saw some pretty good deals out there but somehow I didn't pull the trigger.Then recently I stumble upon a newer reference of 3570.50 (311.30.42.30.01.005) from a reputable seller.The overall watch is in good condition and it comes with all the box, papers, and accessories.I am about to pay $3250 to this seller.So advice would be greatly appreciated as I am going to bank today.Thanks,Ringo

Hi, I have a speedy pro with an OEM leather strap, but I could not bring myself to purchase the $300 clasp. I bought a knockoff on eBay and while it works I am prepared to spend the coin on the OEM if it is superior. The hinge on the knockoff is a bit wobbly when open and just feels a bit cheap.... 'cause it was...So is the OEM 94521813 clasp worth it????

Stopped by the local AD today and he made me break the seal on a new 5164. I wish I could say I took it home...maybe next time.
