F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain With Constant Force Escapement And Dead Seconds Available On James List
This is a hell of a F.P. Journe watch from about 2004-2005 and really resonates with me because it epitomizes what I like in the brand. Some of their other watches just feel like too little for too much, but this Tourbillon Souverain came out when the brand was smoking hot, and everyone was paying attention. An earlier F.P. Journe's Tourbillon Souverain was released before this model, but this watch added a lot to the timepiece and refined the looks of the face. Aside from looking cool, this timepiece has a ton of interesting things going on inside.For one thing, you have a very clean exhibition of the tourbillon on the dial instead of looking through to your wrist between sandwiches of sapphire crystal, you see the tourbillon escapement on a plate of gold with perlage polishing. tolerances
I bought a superocean last year and sent it of to the main breitling service centre in the UK for a total overhaul with a new crystal etc,the bill for this work was approx. ��540 which I did not object to as their estimate was within the final invoice,it was returned last august and I have had to reset the time on a number of occasions,i set the time 21 days ago and it is now approx. 3 minutes slow to my pc which I set it from,this is approx. 1 minute a week ,is this a acceptable tolerance on a timepiece such as this?? when I bought this watch I was certainly expecting better timekeeping from it! cheers for any thoughts.

Is the speedmaster schumacher waterproof
Just picked up a gorgeous schumacher in yellow. there is nothing on the watch thats says water proof or water resistant.

Hi guys- what are your thoughts pros/cons between both of these watches? One case is made of ceramic the other titanium. Besides this I'm unaware of the other differences between them. I assume the newer titanium version is significantly lighter. Thanks ..
