How much over retail do you think this Breguet Ref. 5157 watch will go fetch for charity? With a retail price of $16,200 the 18k gold Breguet watch is currently on eBay awaiting January 9th, 2011, when the auction will end. The proceeds are said to go to the New York Philharmonic's School Partnership Program. When the money is eventually delivered, the children who attend schools that benefit from charity will no doubt be shocked to have received money from a man that died almost 200 years ago.The charity sets up music education programs at New York City schools. Pretentious men and women (with fine watches) travel to underprivileged social institutions and set up "scared straight" style lectures to youth. "This man never listened to orchestra music and now he is in jail - life with out parole. Do you want that to be you?" On the other hand, this guy over here practiced piano for seven years, became an account, and now owns a Lexus hybridAnd guess which of them knows what a Breguet is!

ROO Lug / Strap Questions
I've been looking at a lot of ROOs, and I noticed what seems like 2 types of bands / lugs. What I think is the old style has lugs on the outside (kind of standard setup), whereas what I believe is the new style has what look like inset hinged lugs, and a staggered band.So my questions:1. Am I right in the old / new assumptions?2. Are the old ones less desirable / resellable?3. Are there rubber straps available with the old lug setup?4. Any URLs of stores selling old-style straps?Thanks so much, guys!

Good Morning Wise forum. After 3 years of wrist time with my lovely Daytona I feel ready to treat myself to something new. Yesterday I tried on a ROO black face with a black rubber strap at a shop in the city and I was very impressed with the feel and the quality but at over ��9k 2nd hand seem very steep. So Iam after any info on going rates, AD discount's and personal experiences please. Thanks In AdvanceMark

a superb 2 days ������..
Just had a magnificent 2 days !!Our dealer Degreef ( Belgium - Brussels) invited us for an extraordinary 2 days in Geneva.Day 1, a visit in the Patek museum, I guess it's my 4th or 5th time but every time you are in the museum you discover new art or new important watches.Most of you know that it is forbidden to take pictures so unfortunately I can't post pictures.After the museum we had some spare time so a few of us went the the Patek salon, ofcourse I was one of them LOLAs usual the staff is very helpful and VERY friendly. I can't remember her name but a women from Belarus showed us everything we wanted to see and afterwards she took 3 of us upstairs to the 5th floorWhat a view !!!the furniture just screams classThank you 'lady from Belarus :-) ' !!!Afterwards, back to the hotel and getting ready for a nice diner.I did several manufacture visits in the past and you never know who the other invitees are, this time it was a PERFECT group. Really met some very friendly man and wom
