Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watch celebrates its 80th anniversary
In 2011, the iconic Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watch celebrates its 80th anniversary. This year is also of special importance to Italy, celebrating the 150th anniversary of its Unification. To mark the occasions, the watchmaking company has created an exclusive limited edition Reverso watch destined for the Italian market C the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Italico watch. The timepiece is available in two variations - in a steel version limited to 150 pieces, and in a pink gold version limited to 50 pieces.
Hour Vision - Anyone own one?
I have been interested in this watch, but unfortunately have not seen one in the flesh. I live in the 12th largest city in the US, but there is no longer a single Omega AD in town, and not even one within a few hours drive! So, I thought I'd see if anyone here has one, and find out what they think of it, and if they have any wrist shots etc.I am particularly interested in comparisons with a Datejust.
Incoming 5905p
Needless to say, I am thrilled to have this baby inbound. I would like to send a huge thank you to Socal to az. I was recently in NY for the exhibition and fell in love with the blue 5905p. As much as I liked the watch, somehow the buckle on the strap seemed inconsistent with that level of watch. Then I came across the Socal post where he had ordered it with the depolyant clasp and that clinched it for me. The pictures of that strap on the watch solved the inconsistency. So, thank you again for helping contribute to my addiction.
Does anyone have the DJ41 with slate dial and green Romans on jubilee bracelet?
I had the DJ2 on oyster and flipped it, but having feelings for this one. Thoughts?
New addition to the family
Sorry in advance for the long post and the truly, truly pathetic iphone pics. (I actually debated making an incoming thread at all because of the pics, lol.)I got the DD40 in May '16 and its been my daily until last week. I got a call from my AD a few weeks ago and went in to see the SD43. I really liked it but thought that Basel was just around the corner and I was leaning more towards another PM as I love the weight and the feel. I told them to sell it to the next person and it was gone the same day. But... I couldn't get it out of my mind after I left and asked them to keep me on the list for the next one.For some strange reason, I thought that they would get another in very quickly even though it was only the second one the AD has received since it was released. My hunch was correct and they received another just a couple weeks later. Lucky me.Some miscellaneous thoughts in no particular order:1. The 43mm suits my 8 wrist perfectly. 2. The red font wasn't a big deal to me e
