Watches NEWS
4 weeks with Diver as only watch (sort of)
I just spent four wonderful weeks on a road trip around Italy (Tuscany and Umbria mostly). After much consideration I decided on having my SS Diver accompany me (with my Exp II as reserve back-up).Wearing the Diver all day every day for 4 weeks was a joy. I became more relaxed about the piece than ever before....not quite treating it as a beater, but simply enjoying it and not worrying about any wear-and-tear. I found it to be more adaptable to different situations than I had ever imagined, and as comfortable as one could wish for.If there's anyone out there who's worried about having the Diver as an only watch....don't be! I love mine more than ever.
L O V I N G my new croc camel strap!!!
Ok, the pics do NOT do it justice...but this strap looks AMAZING on my new Navitimer 01 46mm!!! Feels nice and thick, looks very different, but (to me) very appealing! Changed the look of the watch completely!!! What do you guys think?
Here's a bit of a rare bird...Vintage Seamaster Chronometer
Just got this one back from my watchmaker after a routine overhaul. This is an all original circa 1969 Omega Seamaster Chronometer Automatic with quick set Date with the highly acclaimed cal. 564 Chronometer movement. This watch is considered fairly rare (especially in this condition) due to the fact that the cal. 564 Chronometer was typically only seen in the Omega Constellations of this era. I just love the classic size, golden dial with matching gold applied Omega logo and stick hour markers with the matching gold hands...quite the package I must say. Not only does it look good and wear very comfortably with the original omega bracelet; but it also keeps incredibly accurate time. One of my favorites in my recently slimmed down eight watch rotation.Frank
Co-axial movement?
How reliable is this movement, I heard some people had issues? It is a 42mm Planet Ocean. thanks
14060M clasp code without month number
This is my first post so hello everyone!I'm offered 14060M produced in 2010 which was sold in 2011 by Greek AD. I've noticed one thing that concerns me a little bit. Clasp stamped code says just RS without number of the month like I've used to see everywhere. Could you please advise if something like this occurred for RS code? Is this clasp legit?Besides this the whole watch, bracelet and the clasp itself seems all correct, it has box and papers too.Attaching photos:
