Giveaway: Reactor Gamma Titanium Watch
A great watch that you might miss hearing about is the Reactor Gamma. Probably the strongest piece in the American brand's collection, the Gamma is now available in full titanium with the brand's Never Dark (ND) technology. At 45.5mm wide, the case wears comfortably and is 50% lighter than its steel counterpart. It is available with a black or red dial, that has traditional luminant as well as tritium gas tubes on the dial (which is the ND tech).Inside the watch is a Japanese quartz movement with a 10 year battery. The unique styling of the watch is hard to miss, with a design that does in fact grow on you rather quickly. Durable, the Gamma Ti is water resistant to 300 meters, and is easy to read thanks for a healthy amount of AR coating on the mineral crystal. Retail price is $550 on the titanium bracelet, and $525 on a rubber strap. If you win the giveaway, you can choose what Reactor Gamma Ti model you'd like. Seamaster 2064 questions
Despite it being a quartz watch, I absolutely love my Seamaster 2064. I've been doing some research on it and have found out that it is slightly different to the 2264 in that the case is half a mm wider and it has the Bond bracelet.Any Seamaster experts out there who can tell me more about the 2064. Are they rarer than the 2264s, production dates etc...
What was wrong with the DSB?
Out of interest what was wrong with the deep sea blue to warrant the change? I'm guessing from what I've read over the last 2 days it's the bracelet?Maybe I've been hiding under a rock but I'd never heard of issues with his before now. I've had mine a couple of years and it wears great. As with many things it wouldn't surprise me in 12 months time if everyone's saying I preferred the old one'.
11610LV sudden popularity
Hey Everyone, I own the mentioned watch and can understand why people like it and am looking for anyone to share their story or perspective on why this watch seemingly all of sudden became the watch to have over the last 6 months. It seems that every time I view an incoming thread, the green sub is the watch.I know the Rolex sports model market are n unique times right now, but this particular watch seems to be mentioned often.
