There are a million threads about who doesn't like Speedmasters. This is a question for those that love them... what little flaws or issues do you overlook because you love the watch?

Seamaster Pro 300 bracelet advice
Hi, I have a SMP 300 I bought in 2000 which I sent off recently to Omega for servicing. They have replied that they highly recommend a new bracelet as they are unable to repair, refurbish, and guarantee the security due to heavy strain to the factory sealed links and also heavy strain to the rest of the links and the clasp To be honest I had no idea there was any problem with the bracelet but now cannot decide if I should get it replaced (not cheap!!) but the watch has high sentimental value and is my daily beater. Is it a risk to not have it changed, what are the potential problems if I decide not to?Any suggestions gratefully recieved. Thanks

Buying a watch from Italy returning to the US?
Has anyone bought a Rolex from Italy and brought it back to the US?I was just wondering if the watch needs to be declared when you get back and how much taxes you have to pay for so I can calculate if it's worth buying a watch from Italy.

Normal AD behaviour?
So I've decided on my next Rolex, a GMT BLNR.I don't want to pay a premium for a pre-owned, so I went into my local AD (in the UK) today with a view to put my name on a list and curl up for a long sleep until I get the call.So anyway, I went in and enquired, making it clear I'm fully aware of the waiting list and the demand, only to be told they are no longer taking names as the list is full!I didn't quite know what to say, until I was very quickly offered a pre owned one for weeeellll over MRSP. I swiftly declined.So, it's left me a bit disappointed really, going from thinking that I will get one eventually, to being told there's no way of me actually ever getting one through an AD, or this one at least. I plan on doing some ringing around tomorrow, I'm not holding my breath though. Any tips?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
