Pro Cycling Rivals Come Together Over Watches
In a video interview you can watch at CyclingNews, top pro cycling sprinter Mark Cavendish and rival Filippo Pozzato reveal that though relations between them may not always have been on the best terms, all that changed once they got to know each other and learned they share an interest in watches. Cavendish, who hails from the Isle of Man, is one of pro cycling’s most colorful characters, and he is widely regarded as the best sprinter in the pro peloton today. He chalked up 11 wins in his first professional season, and has gone on to win 15 Tour de France stages, among many other victories. A fierce competitor, “Cav” has been described as confident bordering on arrogant. In years gone by, Cavendish and Italian rider Filippo Pozzato exchanged insults that caused many to characterize their relationship as antagonistic. Speaking to Cycle Sport in 2008, Pozzato said I've got a lot of respect for almost everyone in the peloton but I just don't like Riccardo Ricco and Mark
Full Spot O Clock New Releases
Italian brand Full Spot, offers customers a growing range of incredibly affordable watches in myriad colour combinations. If you like expression, you might find a place in your heart (and maybe even a place on your wrist or your pocket) for a Full Spot watch.?This is not an article that deals with high-end horology. This is a review of a clever little brand that deals in a range of rubber-based accessories. If you only care for expensive watches, this brand might not be for you; if you're interested in all kinds of wrist wear, then read on!I'm not even going to make you wait for this: the Full Spot O Clock watch head starts at 13 and the interchangeable rubber straps are 6 a pop. The Full Spot O Chive pocket watch probably falls short of breaking the bank with a price tag of 29. There is also a pretty little fob watch available, which exploits the strangely sparse market niche of fob/chain watches. Priced at 29, the Full Spot O Click offers women a different way to tell the time. M
And now the Aerospace...
...is on my wrist. I've had an interest in this watch for years, due to its combination of digital and analog technology. In high school, my dad gave me a Seiko Sports 100, which had an analog face with a dive watch look, but also had a digital readout. Very handy and served me well for years, until my dad gave me his Omega Speedmaster Professional and my love for classic mechanical watches with an adventurous feel was born. I'd debated the Aerospace's utility, in a world of iPhones. Nonetheless, I decided I wanted one good quartz watch with various functions. The Aerospace is that watch, for me. I bought it yesterday. A little crazy, since I scored the 38mm Transocean the previous day, but I know my fellow watch enthusiasts will understand! Here's a quick photo...ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372281023.523449.jpg
RG YM OF with Easylink
My AD is awesome! I asked my AD about getting an Easylink for my RG YM on OF. Initially it seemed like it would be too hard. Three weeks later..... I have an Easylink on my RG YM!!! I couldn't be happier!! For those of us with this watch, this IS the way Rolex should have delivered this reference!
