The Pilot Has Landed---5524G Incoming!!!
I waited over a year for this, last week my AD called and said get your ducks in a row, its on the way. So, a quick one hour flight from LA to the Bay Area and it was on my wrist. First impressions, the watch oozes Patek quality, sits flat on my wrist and is very comfortable (will be better with a short strap arriving in a few days), seems light weight after wearing my platinum 5905P, is very legible, and the finishing on the movement is really well done. Something that will take getting used to, the rotor noise is really loud, in fact it's the noisiest watch I've ever seen or heard. Here a couple pictures, more to follow.

Rubber strap for my 5167/1A
Hi EverybodyJust wondering to get a rubber strap for my 5167/1A that comes with a bracelet, so I can swap them anytime. Two different styles with the same watch.Did anybody make that change? and if so, will the same clasp work in the rubber one?Thanks to all of you

Another Panerai newb.....First PAM incoming :)
Well, last night while roaming around the mall, my fiance and I decided to pop into Sidney Thomas to have a quick look and try on few PAMs. Next thing I know, we are being offered a gracious discount, when my amazing fiance whipped out her AMEX and bought me the watch. It's a PAM 590. The one I've been lusting over for some time now. This is my wedding present from my wife to be As you may imagine, I am beyond smitten and cannot wait for it to be on my wrist. My first 1950: 320 !!!!
After hours, and hours on this forum -and others - reading about the different options for a GMT in the Panerai family, I finally decided to get the 320. I know it is not a full 24-hour GMT, but I like it much better than the PAM 88 for several reasons:- 1950's case.- In House movement.- Cleaner dial.- Hide-away GMT hand while not traveling.- And the most important one: Ability to change the LOCAL time in 1 hour increments without having to stop the movement.I would have been happy with the 88 if I had been able to move the local hour without stoping the movement, but in the 88, it is the GMT hand that moves in 1-hour clicks without hacking, which for me, didn't make much sense while traveling.I just got it today, BNIB, in all its glory. It is a hefty watch. After trying it at a local dealer earlier in the week, I was a little concerned about it being a little top heavy, and a little larger than I am used to (my daily watch is a 42mm Rolex Explorer II). But after I put it on,

Im thinking of trading my 2015 blnr to a SUB ND. im getting bored with it. How much more do you guys think they should add? For a brand new and for a pre owned SUBc ND?Should i wait for basel before i make a decision?Heres the condition of my watch.
