New Addition AT
New Aqua Terra Blue from Skyfall. Skyfall doesn't matter, I live the blue face. Sorry for the bad pic.
Its the year of the Rolex Master GMT ii, But...
Are the 24hr number markers on the bezel are too big that it seems to look so busy and cluttered? I understand that they’ve changed also the Dial from Maxi Dial from it’s previous predecessors that’s why they’ve increased the size of the numbers on the bezel. I used to own a GMT Black LN, function wise it’s a perfect daily and travel watch but i’ve got tired of it, i’ve sold it and never looked back. Has anyone here thinks that the Tudor BB GMT Pepsi has a better proportions and blending compare to the New Rolex Pepsi? I guess i’m leaning more with the Tudor BB GMT. we’ll see it in a couple of months.
Tudor Black Bay Black Incoming
Hey guys and gals,Just wanted to share my recent incoming of the black bay black. I owned the black bay red eta but px'd it in 2015 to get my DJII which I still own and love. But recently I started to miss the black bay and was after the black eta version but realised getting a new one was harder than I thought so I settled for the newer version. The black is a real versatile piece and went for it on the leather as I don't like the riveted bracelet. And the in-house with 3 days PR is a huge bonus so very happy! Thanks for looking :) M.
Are Rolex' really falling apart or breaking within 5 years?
So I am thinking of purchasing my first Rolex off the grey market for a significant discount but the downside is obviously no 5 year warranty from Rolex. So many people here are so concerned about not have the Rolex warranty that they are willing to pay an extra $1000's for it! Sounds crazy to me. My question is are people really having that many problems with rolex' within the first 5 years or is it just the piece of mind you are looking for? I would think the watch would be pretty robust for such an expensive time piece..... I understand you could have a lemon and anything mechanical could break (because it's mechanical) or you abuse it doing stupid things. Assuming it is not worn while working out or swimming or jack hammering all the time, I would think it would last forever.... Am I missing something? What types of reasons have you had to send it in for repair for within the first 5 years and when/how often do you where it? Is there a couple of very common issues with them? What
