Apple Watch: Prices, Release Date, and More Info From the “Spring Forward” Event
Apple formally launched its new Apple Watch (among other new products) at its “Spring Forward” press event this morning. And if watch fans had any doubt that the tech giant was looking to seriously compete in not only the “wearable technology” arena but the luxury timepiece industry as well, they should put those doubts to rest. What follows are some bullet points from my notes on the press conference. We’ve already reported extensively on the Apple Watch and its impact on . Click here and here for our in-depth articles on the Apple Watch’s specs, capabilities, and variations, and reactions from early testers; here for a comparison between the Apple Watch and its current competitors in the smartwatch category; and here for WatchTime editor-in-chief Joe Thompson’s take on the new product’s pros and cons. The Apple “Spring Forward” event a significant portion of which was devoted to Apple CTO Kevin Lynch demonstrating a number o
Tips/tricks to remove diver strap
Hi, all -Finally got around to attempting to install the Survivor Hornback I picked up from Clearwater a while back (busy busy end of year!). However, I see that when I turn screw on one side (this one the one holding the strap to the plots(?)), it just turns on the other side and does not come loose. I assume this is gonna need two screwdrivers, if anyone knows of a clever other way to do it, please advise.
Missing my 15400
Hope it will be back soonAnyhow, weekend watch for this week!
Omega PO Movement Issue
Anyone ever have issues getting your omega (specifically PO) to startup after it hasn't been worn in weeks? After weeks, sometimes days, of no wear, my PO has a really hard time kicking over and starting. I may run for a few sec then stop again. Is this normal for this movement?Any advice would help? Thanks,Aaron
WG Pepsi or 5164a for travel?
If you can have one travel time/ gmt watch which one will you get? They're about the same price. My issue with 5164a is I live in a tropical country. When I travel to other colder countries, the 5164a becomes loose. Rolex solved this with their easy link bracelet. I love the slealthiness of my 5164a but I also like wearing my watches tight. Don't like it dangling like a bracelet. If I cut one more rubber, it'll be too tight where I live. Thoughts? Suggestions?
