Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquidmetal Limited Edition
Omega has announced the launch of the Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquidmetal in a limited edition of 1948 pieces, in honor of the year the Seamaster was launched. The watch features a ceramic bezel with the numbers and scale made from Liquidmetal, an alloy created by Swatch Group researchers collaborating with Omega’s product development team. Liquidmetal is an amorphous metal C a metallic material with a disordered, non-crystalline atomic structure. Its fusion temperature is half that of conventional titanium alloys but when it is cooled, its hardness is three times as great as that of stainless steel. Its amorphous structure allows it to bond seamlessly with the ceramic bezel. The Liquidmetal is a bulk metallic glass alloy consisting of five elements: zirconium, titanium, copper, nickel and beryllium. Review of the Ball Engineer Master II Diver From WatchReport.com
I came across Ball watches when I was looking for something distinctive and unique; something that combines the tradition of a good automatic movement with modern functionality; something that stands out without being ostentatious. The result was the Ball Engineer Master II Diver you see here.
AP ROC service costs
I've been offered an absolutely stonking deal on a WG 25960BC. It is an F-serial with no service history. It's running +10s and 295deg amplitude and 0,5ms beat error, so even though it's not really screaming for it yet, I think it could benefit from a service.Does anyone have info about the real service costs for the Royal Oak Chronos? I can't find them anymore from APs website, and Google gives such a crazy range of prices, some simply I heard from my friend credibility. So, has anyone actually went through and serviced their AP chrono at AP? What were the costs?

Same Mindset as w/ a Rolex?
In the sense of natural scratches and swirls and whatnot? For many in the Rolex world, they still see them as tool watches. I do not agree. I see them as jewelry. However, I wear mine as if it is a too and I don't mind scratches if they are not too bad. I am pretty comfortable doing anything with it. I do realize that many freak out about scratching their Rolex watches, but many also don't. That said, with my new 5167, I am noticing that I am picking up some desk diving scratches and I have banged it once or twice. That is less than a week. I had zero problems with this with any of my Rolex watches. And truthfully, I think I don't care with this one either. But I am curious what this forum thinks. Do you guys baby your Patek? Do they get natural marks? Do they age with experience? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you,
