INCOMING! I'm part of the AP Club!
I have finally joined the AP club! I’m still in shock that I now own an AP as part of my small modest collection. I didn’t think I’d be adding an AP for a while yet. I started looking for one here in London through grey dealers. I’ve never bought a watch this way so was a bit nervous about the whole thing. The search wasn’t going anywhere. I then travelled abroad and while there I tried to source one with not much luck as the price wasn’t quite right and the sellers weren’t all too great. Then I posted a thread on the forum about how warranty works with grey dealers because I didn’t quite understand the whole thing. Just when everything was looking all bleak with no hope, Neil aka ‘AK797’ suggested I contact ‘Addy616’ who is based in the US but was travelling to the UK in two weeks. Can a 16 year old wear an AP?
Hello all. I was gifted a 15400ST (black dial) for my 16th birthday, and I'm really in love with it. It's really great. But my question is, is it socially acceptable to wear this at my age? From my experience a Rolex draws too much attention for someone my age and the AP is understated yet luxurious. Is this appropriate? Thanks!
2001 new, old stock croc strap
Hi guys, I wanted to see if I could get your input. I wanted to know what would be a fair price for a Breitling blue croco strap (model 244P new, stock from 2001 according to Breitling) size 20-18.
Where will the sub top out at?
I was going back over old threads, and noticed a price list from 2005 had the 16610 Sub date at just over $4000 so it more than double in the 10 years following, what do you see as the top end for a regular black sub date, you think it will ever double again to $16k plus??? I would say no way but then again 10-12 years ago I would never have seen it approaching $10k either!! BTW going back to the very early threads is so much fun, so much has changed and so little has changed haha
