A watch to last me until....
I just purchased this omega speed master professional Moonwatch 311.30.42.30.01.006 with box and papers. It's a quick buy that will hold me over until I can find and fund an 116618lb for a good price in the next 2 years. What do you think? I know it's a Rolex forum but my end goal is a Rolex when I sell this watch. Any omega fans? How does this Moonwatch stand to others?ThanksSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
5711 issues
I was setting the time today and noticed that the seconds hand jerked backwards (counterclockwise) while adjusting the hour hand backwards. I was wondering if any other owners experienced this? Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
100th post, and first patek
Today is another one of those monumental days in our rarified hobby. A step into a new brand, or the realisation of something long awaited. I remember the first time I saw the 5711 was christmas 2011, so a very long 6 years ago... But even back then, all I could think about was the rolex submariner I had been learning about and saving up to buy. As the store seemed almost empty of customers that day, I had dropped in, out of the snow, to try on the sub again.... They never minded showing me on any occaison, I got given a coffee and we talked about my love of watches, and how I wanted a rolex to be my next venture...On this day, the dealer asked me, if I wanted to know where I'd end up in a few years.... he said that my passion a
Daytona Two-Tone vs. Yachtmaster II SS
I am looking at adding another watch to the collection and am torn between these two watches as they are both amazing for different reasons. The Daytona has been around for a long time which means there are many people that have it. The Yachtmaster II is relatively new and I rarely see people wearing it which is why I tend to lean this route. I am curious on the opinions of everyone as to what watch will likely hold it's value better in the next 5 years. What do you think, the Two-Tone Daytona or the Stainless Steel Yachtmaster II?Thanks for your time!
