5 year boutique warranties - International?
I was wondering what experiences people around here have had with the 5 year warranties that are offered with boutique purchases. When I bought my 15202 from the HK boutique - I was told that the warranty would be 5 years, but that outside the first 3 year window, it would be necessary to send the watch to the HK boutique for the remainder of the warranty to be honoured. I did not receive a definitive answer as to whether the warranty would be honoured at other service centres around the world in the year 4/5 period.I would appreciate any anecdotes!
Any AP aftermarket strap option?
I am looking to buy a new strap for my AP ROO Novelty 44mm. I have looked into AP Bands, but they never pick up their phone number. I don't know if they are closed down. Is there other after market strap place you can recommend? Thanks
Omega Seamaster Deville repair?? Help
I recently sent out my omega seamaster deville watch (1960's) for an overhaul and crown replacement. When I got it back the new crown was different from the one that was originally on the watch. It now is difficult to wind the watch, but it does work. Setting the hour hands work fine, but the date set position leaves the crown very loose. I did a youtube video to show the watch repair people that worked on the watch because I was concerned about how loose the crown was. Their reply was well, if the crown doesn't fall off, you're good. Here is a link to that video.youtu.be/cIiiWX8_s3cIs this something that can be fixed? Maybe it needs the proper crown? My research:Because I'm not sure what calibre the watch is and I don't have the ability to take it apart to find out the case back number, I'm at a bit of a loss in finding the correct crown for it. I did see some crowns that looked like the one I had on this website: .ofrei/page_147.html Not that I want to sink more money into this wat

What would you choose as your daily? 2 options
I just acquired a 16570 L serial (birth year) with beautiful patina.Until then the 16600 was my daily wearer, every day all day. Between the two, which would you give more wrist time to?I was thinking of making the 16570 my daily so the 16600 stays in relatively good shape. But I'm scared that because of its age and patina it may not be as robust?Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
