Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller D-Blue Dial, James Cameron Deepsea Challenge 3D Movie
Rolex doesn't normally release watches outside of its normal Baselworld schedule, but today they have made their very first exception to that rule by releasing the new Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller with D-Blue Dial 116660 watch. It has a blue and black gradient dial with a vibrant green colored "DEEPSEA" text on the dial. Interestingly enough the reference number for the D-Blue is the same as the standard black-dialed Deepsea.Another testament to the?unique nature?of this occasion?is how Rolex teased that the announcement would be on August 4th 2014 a few days in advance. Many considered Rolex to be quite late with the announcement as it was August 5th in much of the world by the time it was released. With that said, the Rolex Deepsea D-Blue watch is finally here, so let's see what details we know and how it relates to Rolex's relationship with movie maker James Cameron. The new Deepsea D-Blue is dedicated to James Cameron's successful descent in 2012 to the deepest point on our planet loca
Hublot Reaches Way, Way Back, Builds Antikythera Device For The Wrist
This week, Hublot revealed the movement that will power their much anticipated Antikythera watch, Caliber 2033-CH01. It wasn't until relatively recently that scientists began to grasp the true complexity of the device. State of the art X-rays revealed a plethora of internal gear trains hidden within, along with Greek text on the outer case that is believed to be an instruction manual. Hublot likens the machine to a cosmograph, in that it describes the movement in the cosmos. However, the cycles that the ancient Greeks sought to measure are quite diff

to be honest, it kinda felt too large putting it on right after my 26320OR, but I am used to it now, and it feels great to know you own one...
26400au FC for Smurf ???
Completely out of left field, I was offered a swap yesterday where I would give up my 6 month old 26400FC Novelty (which I do like) for a BNIB 116619 Smurf. After initially politely declining the offer....I find myself actually contemplating the deal. This would leave me with my Diver as my only AP.And although I am leaning towards not making the trade I'm always curious what other's thoughts on the subject are .....fire away !
